Can men and women just be friends? What about married men and women? Does the Church offer any guidance on where to draw the line between a spiritual friendship and a dangerous one?

I don't have time to tackle this one, but have long had a very dear male friend. We were best buds in high school, I was "best man" at his wedding, and he and his wife are godparents to all my children ... so feel free to use me as a source! :-
